Gryphons Senior Men vs Toronto Dragons - June 18, 2011

On June 18th, as the sun beat down on Greenway Park, the senior men took the field against the visiting Toronto Dragons. With a great number of Lindsay players coming out to play on the home field, the Second team generously loaned the Dragons 3 players to even up the numbers at 15 per side. The scoring though, was not even, as Lindsay slayed the Dragons by a scored of 79 to 0, bringing their season record to 2 wins and 3 losses.

Deflated by the Seconds team loss, the Dragons First team took the field to face the powerful Lindsay home squad. The Gryphon's hard running, strong tackling and crushing hits could not be matched by Toronto, resulting in a 53 to 5 win for Lindsay. The First team now has a season record of 3 wins and 2 losses.
